Projects Delivery Lead

PBS (Semco UK) are looking for a Projects Delivery Lead to join the E&C team on a full-time permanent basis.

Details/duties:

• To lead the PBS Project Engineering team, reporting to the Technical Services Director.
• As a member of the wider Technical Services Leadership team, work collaboratively with the other function heads (Engineering, Construction, Asset & Integrity Repair, Project Controls), participate in departmental-level decision making and leading communication of objectives and other key messages to the wider team.
• Appoint, manage and maintain an effective team of Project Engineers responsible for the co-ordination all the Engineering & Construction disciplines, and other support functions, to ensure the highest quality of engineering and project execution is achieved at the optimum cost, delivered safely and within agreed timescale and project quality targets.
• Work in conjunction with the client projects and asset teams promoting a portfolio management approach to support the delivery of brownfield modifications projects within the context of an annual budgeting process.
• Maintaining and developing strong relationships with the key stakeholders in the client organisation, comfortable engaging with Senior Management.
• Provide safety leadership and support compliance of all activities to HSE and Occupational Health and Safety requirements.
• Act as the functional approval authority for proposals and estimates, change orders and requisitions within authorised financial limits and agreed timeline targets.
• Drive continuous improvement across the project engineering space, ensuring consistent and repeatable delivery of fit-for-purpose, cost effective and timely project solutions
• Ensure there is strong operational discipline and adherence to all key processes and procedures by all working within the project engineering space
• Drive the development and performance management of the project engineering function to deliver against workload expectations and all key delivery targets

Qualifications/Experience required:

• Proven oil & gas industry experience in a similar position
• Bachelor of Engineering Degree (Honours or above), Project Management qualification preferable
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Experienced in leading, coaching and developing a group of project engineers
• Proven continuous improvement and change management experience and behaviours in the project engineering space
