PBS Offshore (Ponticelli UK Ltd) are seeking a dynamic and ambitious individual to join our team. This role will be responsible for supporting the Maintenance & Operational Excellence Manager in leading the development and delivery of maintenance and operational improvement strategies, contributing to the optimisation of maintenance systems, planning processes, and reliability programs, ensuring continuous improvement and alignment with performance standards and client expectations.
Key Deliverables:
- Assist in the development, tracking, and implementation of Maintenance Improvement Plans, ensuring milestones are met and aligned with strategic goals.
- Support the evaluation and enhancement of Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS), contributing to the alignment with maintenance strategies and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with planning teams to improve maintenance scheduling, resource allocation, and execution effectiveness, driving operational efficiency.
- Participate in reliability analysis, including the identification of bad actors and execution of Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for recurrent issues, feeding into long-term reliability improvement plans.
- Assist in the coordination and performance monitoring of maintenance vendors, supporting value-driven and quality-focused service delivery.
- Promote knowledge sharing and skills development within the maintenance team by contributing to training, process documentation, and improvement workshops.
- Monitor and report on the progress of continuous improvement initiatives, ensuring visibility of KPIs and delivery of key outcomes.
- Liaise regularly with internal and external stakeholders to maintain alignment on maintenance activities and expectations.
- Support the implementation of advanced maintenance techniques, including Condition-Based Maintenance (CBM), predictive maintenance, and the integration of digital tools.
- Ensure adherence to the Management of Change (MOC) process for any campaign-based or structural maintenance changes.
Qualifications and Work Experience:
- Essential: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Maintenance Management, or a related technical field.
- Essential: Demonstrated experience supporting or delivering maintenance improvement projects and system optimisation.
- Desirable: Experience working with CMMS platforms and vendor performance frameworks.
Job Specific Knowledge:
- Essential: Understanding of maintenance operations, improvement methodologies, and performance metrics.
- Desirable: Awareness of lean principles, HSE standards, and reliability-centred maintenance practices.
Skills:
- Essential: Strong communication, coordination, and organisational skills.
- Essential: Analytical ability to support performance tracking and continuous improvement activities.
- Desirable: Capability to contribute to digitalisation initiatives and innovative maintenance techniques.
