Approximately 500km north east of Aberdeen and 160km east of the Shetlands in 129m of water and has been producing for over 30 years, with production in 1987 it has a current daily production of circa 40,000 boe/d.
Oil export is to the Cormorant Alpha platform then onwards via the Brent pipeline system to Sullom Voe. Gas export is via the FUKA pipeline system to the St Fergus Gas Terminal.
The Installation consists of two fixed steel jacket platforms designated NAA and NAB, connected by a 72m long steel bridge. The accommodation, drilling facilities and some utilities are located on the NAA platform, oil and gas processing, and further utilities are located on the NAB platform.
