PBS Secures Contract Extension with TotalEnergies
PBS is pleased to announce the extension of its General Maintenance and Operations Contract (GMOC) with TotalEnergies after the operator exercised an option to secure PBS’s services through to the end of April 2027.
The GMOC was initially awarded to PBS – a consortium comprising Ponticelli UK, Brand Energy & Infrastructure Services, and Semco Maritime, headquartered in Aberdeen – in 2020, to support the operator’s North Sea assets. Since that time, PBS has overcome early challenges, to become a leading provider of integrated maintenance and operations support in the UKCS.

“We’re delighted and proud to be working with TotalEnergies across its North Sea assets. The extension of the contract offers stability for our workforce and recognises the high standards to which we’ve delivered.
“Our 2024 performance built on the strong foundations laid in 2023, with notable reductions in maintenance backlog, safe and efficient execution of planned shutdowns, and continued cost savings delivered at scale—all while maintaining an excellent safety record.
