A Double Award Win for PBS at the Offshore Safety Awards 2025

PBS has been celebrated for their outstanding contributions towards safety excellence…

At this year’s Offshore Safety Awards, PBS won the Award for Workforce Engagement, applauding their dedication to connect with their workforce particularly through visible leadership, recognition, and collaboration. These considerable efforts have contributed to improving safety culture and performance.

The Award for Safety Representative of the Year was also presented PBS, commending Doug Walker, Material Controller, for his enthusiasm and commitment over 25 years which has demonstrably influenced the safety agenda throughout the organisation.

PBS’ double award win acknowledges a robust year for the consortium.

In May it announced the extension of its General Maintenance and Operations Contract (GMOC) with TotalEnergies after the operator exercised an option to secure PBS’s services through to the end of April 2027.

Speaking of their recent successes, Adam Mason, PBS’ GMOC Director, said:

“We are delighted with our Safety award wins; they represent the commitment shown by Team PBS to actively listen, feedback and improve as a result of some effective engagement initiatives we have implemented. We are also enormously proud that Doug has been recognised for his contributions as a Safety Rep not only to PBS, but to workplace safety overall.

“Our achievements at the Offshore Safety Awards are particularly significant due to the way that winners are chosen. These are industry awards decided by industry professionals.”

What makes these two awards especially meaningful is they reflect the progress we’ve made and the values we uphold as an organisation – Safety, People, Excellence, Teamwork, and Integrity.

I’m extremely proud of everyone at PBS and all that we continue to achieve together.”
