PBS Offshore (Ponticelli UK Ltd) are seeking a dynamic and ambitious individual to join our team. This role will be responsible for providing critical day-to-day support for offshore operations within their designated asset, ensuring the integrity, reliability, and efficiency of mechanical systems, including both static and rotating equipment.
Key Deliverables:
- Provide daily mechanical engineering support to ensure the safe and efficient operation of mechanical systems across the designated asset or site
- Address and resolve technical issues raised by the site team within a 0-14 day timeframe, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
- Maintain close links with Technical Authorities to preserve the integrity of mechanical systems, ensuring compliance with industry standard and safety requirements.
- Ensure all planned maintenance activities are identified and integrated into both short and long-term asset plans, with a focus on optimising maintenance activities.
- Coordinate with vendors to support planned and corrective maintenance activities, ensuring that all necessary resources and expertise are available.
- Collaborate with reliability engineers and other onshore Mechanical Engineers to support reliability improvement program, RCM analyses, and maintenance strategy development.
- Engage in Root Cause Analysis (RCA) processes and investigations to identify and implement solutions to mechanical issues.
- Proactively support and promote Health, Safety and Environmental (HS&E) processes, ensuring that all mechanical operations adhere to safety standards.
- Regularly liaise with key stakeholders to review and update mechanical maintenance content in SAP and CMMS (UNISOL) systems.
- Provide technical expertise during project execution and shutdown periods, contributing to preparation and implementation phases.
Qualifications and Work Experience:
- Essential: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Desirable: Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- Desirable: SAP user certification, SCQF Level 5 or higher.
- Essential: Experience in Mechanical Engineering within the energy sector, specifically offshore experience.
- Desirable: Experience with both static and rotating equipment maintenance.
