Within its first five years, the PBS consortium has been recognised as a finalist in numerous industry award categories and has secured four award wins.
This recognition reflects the value of our contribution internally, to our clients, and across the wider industry – something we are extremely proud of.
In 2025, PBS was awarded the prestigious Workforce Engagement Award at the Offshore Safety Awards.
This recognition followed the implementation of our PBS Merit employee recognition system, a commitment to 250 leadership site visits within 12 months, and the development and rollout of our PBS Pulse employee engagement app.
The award reflects the strength of these initiatives, which were reinforced by our employee engagement survey, showing a 40% improvement in positive feedback – 20% of which related directly to engagement and culture.
Step Change In Safety recognised Doug
Walker after we had proudly nominated him.
Doug has served over 25 years as a Safety Rep
and is a shining example of what a Safety Rep
should be, committed to his colleagues and
the values of PBS.
Since 2023, PBS has also enrolled 100 leaders in CMI and ILM accredited programmes, with qualifications ranging up to Level 7.
Hannah Wilson, PBS SMC Lead, was awarded the prestigious Young Professional Award at the SPE Offshore Achievement Awards.
This recognition reflects Hannah’s outstanding contribution to PBS, with her work directly delivering more than £20 million in savings for both the business and our clients. Alongside her role at PBS, Hannah also serves on the Board of the Energy Institute’s Young Professionals, where she actively supports industry development and the growth of future talent.
